See you on Instagram!

I've had Instagram for roughly 3 years, but till now, I've kept the account private. I've been thinking about making it public for quite some time already and today was the day.
I went through the pictures, cleaned them up a little and would now like to invite you to the world of my work in progress (#WIP) sketches, my messy table, the nature around me and cute little details that catch my eye. And gorgeous lilies that I treat myself to every so often :)

Revisiting my dad's studio last weekend

Chris and I have spent the last weekend in Prague and I took pictures in my dad's studio.
The studio has very high ceilings, lots of direct sunlight and a loft-like atmosphere as some parts of it are exposed to concrete and the overall space is purpose-driven. It's messy, it's got old furniture mixed up with new, it has plants, lots of materials lying around and huge canvases leaning against or hanging on the walls.
I love the atmosphere that literally invites you to touch things lying around and look at intricate details like dried up blobs of color on various surfaces.
Huge inspiration to me.
I can't wait to dive into my own creative world when the time allows.

In the post last week: business cards & Wrap magazine!

My very first Natalie Zart business cards have arrived last week and my stationery set is now complete: thank you mini cards, stickers, wooden stamp and now biz cards. Happy!

I was also nicely surprised that my first issue of Wrap magazine has arrived already. I usually order magazines from the US and that takes 2 - 3 weeks. Wrap is however from the UK and so it was here super fast!
The magazine is all about illustration, gift wraps and features work of many artists. From their website I knew the magazine will include tear out gift wraps, but I did not expect there to be FIVE! Very generous (and very handy 10 days before Chris' birthday, hihi).

All of these wraps were in the mag!
I think this gift wrap is the prettiest

My ultimate love for... GIFT WRAPS

Have I told you yet?
I am obsessed about gift wraps.
Totally.
When packing presents, I (whenever I can) try to match the paper, the ribbon, the card and all decorations around the present in a certain style and color theme. My lust for perfection in this sense is often not satisfied by the supply in local shops, so I started shopping for gift wraps online.
And I can tell you a little secret, I am planning to create a gift wrap of my own. This project is in really early stages and I promise once there will be more to share, I will.
For now, I would love to share some of my recent gift wrap favorites with you.

Oh and I found out that there is a magazine just about gift wraps! It's called Wrap and the top three images are of gift wraps designed for the mag. I'm totally ordering it and will share pics of it when it arrives. So exciting!!
